Providing exceptional legal services to individuals, businesses, and public bodies is one of the core philosophies at the very heart of the Mickey Wilson legal team. Both our legal roots and the inception of this philosophy date back to our early beginnings in 1946, in Aurora. Ever since then, this philosophy is, and has been, a way of life for our attorneys and staff. This core philosophy was also at the heart of Mickey Wilson’s vision, in 1991, when we created our elder law division which, in turn, led to the formation of the Elder Law Center, P.C.
“Giving back” to the community and to the legal profession is another long-standing core philosophy of Mickey Wilson. As part of our commitment to community affairs, we fully support and encourage our attorneys to “give back” to the community and to the legal profession. Regularly providing speakers to participate in various legal, educational, and community/school-based programs is just one way that Mickey Wilson and our attorneys serve our community. Most of our attorneys have also either served, or are currently serving on, various community and/or professional legal association boards including, but not limited to: the Board of the Kane County Bar Association (including two past presidents, a past chairperson of the Municipal Law Committee, and a past chairperson of the Estate Planning, Probate, & Elder Law Committee), the Illinois Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (including two past presidents), the Elder Law Section Council (one past chairperson) of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Aurora YMCA, Fox Knoll, the Executive Committee of the Illinois Council of School Attorneys, the Greater Aurora School/Business Partnership Program, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Family Counseling Service, Community Counseling Service, and the Aurora Country Club. In addition, all of our attorneys are members of both the Kane County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association, as well as various other professional legal associations.
Mickey Wilson, and our team of seasoned attorneys, is now located in Sugar Grove, Illinois. Our firm is structured into the following areas of law: Public Bodies & Municipalities, Business & Transactions, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Litigation. With more than one-hundred years of combined legal experience, we are able to offer a superb legal experience to the clients we serve. Additionally, it remains our honor to continue our long-standing tradition of collaborating with our clients to achieve outstanding, comprehensive, and creative solutions to the vast array of legal issues that individuals, businesses, and public bodies face every day.
